A PC with a 17" screen, a keyboard, a mouse and Windows XP (SP3) / Vista / 7 / 8 10 with 2GB RAM is all you actually need.
A bigger screen or touchscreen, ticket printer, drawer, scanner, card reader, weight scale.....all can be added at any time later.
Save money by using existing equipment, add a second or third station when needed, use the wifi or ethernet to connect the terminals
